Our Mission is "to provide an exemplary Catholic, faith-based
and competitive education within a close-knit, loving community."
There are three important components to this mission. As a school, we hold ourselves to the high academic standards that our children require to be successful lifelong learners. As a pillar of our parish, we instill the values of our faith so that our children grow spiritually as well as intellectually. As a community, we work in partnership with parents to surround our students with people who care about them and their future.

Families came together with the united purpose of educating hearts and minds when Sacred Heart School was founded over 100 years ago. We renew that purpose each year, incorporating new tools and resources to ensure that we continue to fulfill our mission amidst the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.

A Bright Future

Chicago Magazine in the fall of 2006 voted Sacred Heart as one of the Top 25 Best Private Elementary Schools in the Chicagoland Area. We are proud of this accolade and strive to constantly meet the needs of an ever-changing student body.

School Size.

One of Sacred Heart School's many strengths is its intimate learning environment. An average class size of 17 students is comprised of over 300 students participating in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. In 2004, an addition was completed, adding 6 more classrooms to house our increasing student population and the space needs of today's educational environment.
